Hey! Welcome to oneSafe 6 😊
Here you will find our manifesto, to explain what the app does and our convictions about oneSafe.
We will try our best to be transparent, understandable, and concise. To make it less painful to read.
So grab your favorite drink and sit comfortably, reading this document will take you about 5 minutes ☕
oneSafe is a secure, accessible, and transparent digital safe.
This means that it allows you to store your sensitive data (including passwords, notes, information...) without any risk of losing them or having them leaked.
It is a tool designed to be usable by everyone. It is customizable, meaning you can group your items by folder or differentiate them with distinct icons and colors, and it is "transparent": everything will be explained to you (and we will enrich it little by little with the evolutions of oneSafe!). Why we need you to provide an identifier, how encryption works, how to consider a password secure, and others that will be added as we go along.
However, if anything is not clear enough, please send us a message to let us know so that we can make the necessary changes!
Anyone with an iPhone running iOS 16 or later, or an Android phone running Android 6 - called Marshmallow - or later, can use oneSafe 6.
We do not collect nor share any information when you use oneSafe.
The password you enter - called master password - is only used to protect your data on your device. They do not constitute registration. For this reason, if you lose your master password, we have no way to restore your content.
The elements you create, the passwords you enter, the photos you import, or the information you provide exist only on your device. We have no way to restore them if you lose your identifiers.
We have also decided to open-source part of the code of oneSafe, everything related to data, security, and the protection of your privacy (in other words, everything except the "screens").
